Senior UI/UX Designer (Full-Time, Remote)
Experience: 3–4 years
Location: Remote
Portfolio: Mandatory
Design Education: Preferred

Convertcart is growing its in-house design team, and we’re looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer who blends craft and critical thinking—someone who’s not only great at what they do but has the mindset of a problem-solver, strategist, and design advocate.

This isn’t a role for someone who wants to “just design screens.” We’re looking for a Figma-first designer who lives and breathes UI finesse, thinks in terms of systems and flows, and backs every design decision with logic, data, and empathy.

What you'll do:

• Craft pixel-perfect UI with a strong sense of visual hierarchy, colour, typography, and layout.
• Conduct UX audits, usability reviews, heuristic evaluations, and competitor benchmarking to identify design gaps.
• Create user journeys, task flows, and wireframes that demonstrate deep UX understanding.
• Translate insights into compelling interfaces with smooth transitions, micro-interactions, and delightful user moments.
• Collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• Take the lead in defending design logic, present strategy, and contribute to product thinking.
• Bring creativity and visual storytelling to the table—past experience in graphic design or motion is a huge plus.
• Help shape and evolve our internal design systems and guidelines.

What we’re looking for:

• 3–4 years of professional UI/UX design experience.
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates UI polish, UX depth, and creative flair—please include micro-interactions or motion elements if possible.
• Confidence and clarity in communication—You’ll be communicating the rationale behind your design decisions not just to clients, but with client success managers, business strategists, and developers—aligning everyone around a shared vision.
• Experience conducting UX audits and articulating opportunities for conversion and usability improvements.
• Ability to defend design choices with research, logic, and best practices—not just preference.
• A learner’s mindset with the initiative to stay on top of trends and tools.
• A calm head under pressure and speed without sacrificing quality.

Nice to have:

• Formal education in design (UI/UX, HCI, Visual Communication, etc.)
• Experience in graphic design, branding, or marketing creatives.
• Motion design skills or proficiency will be required.
• Experience working in the e-commerce space.

Why join us?

• 100% remote setup with flexible hours.
• Work with a passionate, cross-disciplinary team solving real business problems.
• Opportunity to take ownership, shape processes, and grow into a strategic design leadership role.
• Regular design critiques, team huddles, and space for growth & experimentation.
• Competitive perks and a design-first culture that respects time, focus, and creativity.
